I have extended my "A Beautiful Idea" range with a more exclusive line, "Intensive Treat". These products are based on the latest advanced skincare technology and designed specifically to target the different components of the skin, preventing premature aging and improving skin structure. The products are based on peptides—these are built up from chains of naturally occurring amino acids, which form groups of protein. They are naturally found in the body’s cell membrane. I utilize peptides in my products because of their ability to selectively enter the skin and treat physiological changes, such as wrinkles. Lack of collagen is the main cause of skin aging; however, the peptides, and the proteins that they form, make the skin produce more collagen, thereby repairing itself in the same way as younger skin. The result is smoother, softer and more lustrous skin.
The peptides are built up by combining amino acids. These amino acids tend to be of vegetable origin or they are manufactured through a microbiological fermentation process, which means that they are of natural origin. I usually therefore refer to them as vegetable proteins.
Peptides are specially designed for the different effects you want to achieve, e.g. anti-wrinkle treatment, combating free radicals or improving sun-damaged skin. In my "Intensive Treat" range these peptides go by the names Aldenine®, Trylagen™ and Gatuline™ In-tense and Eyeseryl™. Since peptides are naturally found in the body they are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
At the moment there are three products in the Intensive Treat range: DNA Repair & Protect Face Cream, 24H Anti-Age Face Cream and Eye Focus Anti Puffiness Multi Lift. Just like most of my products, the Intensive Treat products are paraben-free.
DNA Repair & Protect Face Cream is an advanced face cream with stimulating antioxidants and collagen strengthening vegetable proteins (peptides) for healthier skin. The cream helps young and mature skin alike to prevent and combat premature aging caused by environmental pollution and UV rays—these external factors generate free radicals, destroying its DNA and collagen. DNA Repair & Protect Face Cream penetrates and protects the DNA of your skin cells, resulting in smoother skin with an improved texture.
The cream contains three active substances to protect DNA from being destroyed in skin cells, but the main ingredient is Aldenine®, based on vegetable proteins from soy and wheat. This ingredient works actively by strengthening collagen III – the collagen found in youthful skin. It also prevents deterioration and hardening of collagen structure, one of the causes of wrinkles. The cream also contains an antioxidant extracted from vitamin E, proven to be a thousand times stronger an antioxidant than ordinary vitamin E. This substance prevents the breakdown of skin cell DNA and combats free radicals. Coenzyme Q10 stimulates the body’s immune defense and delays the skin aging process.

24H Anti-Age Face Cream is a rejuvenating anti-wrinkle cream, containing the unique ingredient Trylagen™ based on hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Soy Protein.
Collagen is a group of naturally occurring proteins that gives your skin its structure as well as its appearance of smoothness and youth. As production slows down and the collagen net begins to break down, we notice wrinkles and other signs of aging. 24H Anti-Age Face Cream provides an efficient treatment to restore the collagen levels of both young and mature skin, ensuring a healthy appearance. Nourishing Rapeseed Oil and an extra strong moisturizer have been added to stimulate the moisture retention and smoothness of the skin.
24H Anti-Age Face Cream contains three active ingredients that together restore and improve the structure of the skin. The main ingredient is Trylagen™ that consists of active peptides derived from vegetable proteins. The substance boosts, organizes and protects the skin’s collagen, resulting in a significant anti-wrinkle effect. Rapeseed oil, often called the Gold of the North is a pure natural product with great skin caring qualities. Containing natural vitamin E and plant sterols, rapeseed oil softens skin and is particularly great for dry and sensitive skin. The extra strong moisturizer Ion-moist has shown a 42% increase in moisture levels of the skin after 24 hours and a 53% increase in the long term. Ion-moist contains lactate and potassium that protects the skin’s natural barriers and makes the skin soft and smooth.
As time passes, the delicate skin around the eyes loses its elasticity and a fine net of wrinkles appear. I have therefore developed a lifting and firming eye cream, Eye Focus Anti Puffiness Multi Lift. The cream is based on vegetable wax from rice bran, candelilla and jojoba. A new ingredient called Eyeseryl, containing natural amino acids, prevents edema and puffiness around the eye. Gatuline In-tense is another ingredient in this product. This oily extract from flower buds contains high levels of alkyl amides (amino acids and peptides) that build and repair the skin’s collagen. As a result the skin is firmer and tighter. This product helps the tired and dry skin around the skin to retain its moisture and elasticity. At the same time it prevents puffiness and dark circles around the eye.
